Once Sport at The Coach Experience 2025 – An Insight into the Future of Sports Analysis

From June 5th to 7th, Once Sport had the pleasure of attending The Coach Experience 2025. It is one of the most dynamic football education events in Italy. Hosted in Rimini, the event brought together coaches, analysts, and professionals from the football world.
One of the well-known guests was Roberto Mancini , a former manager of Italy, Manchester City, Lazio, and Inter. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, learn, and share what we’re building at Once Sport.
Kicking Off with Insightful Exchanges
The first day of the event started strong with a visit from Roberto Valtancoli , performance analyst at the Cesena FC women’s team, currently competing in Serie B. We were honoured to welcome Roberto to our booth and exchange thoughts on the evolving role of performance analysis, especially in the women’s game.
Later in the afternoon, we hosted a brief presentation of Once Sport . We presented our products, shared current pricing plans, and gave a sneak peek into our upcoming development plans. The feedback we received was encouraging and reaffirmed the growing interest in our products.
Planning the future
On the second day of the event, we met Lorenzo Favaro from Sport Analisi. We’re currently in discussions to co-host a training course that would cover all the key features and functionalities of the Once Sport products. The goal is to offer coaches a hands-on learning experience that bridges theory and practice.
That evening, we had dinner with our long-standing partners Massimo Lucchesi and Tommaso from Allenatore. net. Over great food and engaging conversation, we explored ideas for future collaboration, particularly around coach education and tailored courses using our tools.
Supporting Our Users
On the final day of The Coach Experience 2025, we focused on what matters the most: our users. We spent time with coaches using Once Sport, helping with issues, offering tips, and listening to how our tools are being used in real-world settings.
One highlight was a live Instagram Story we posted, where we used Once Sport Coach Board to design a custom drill in collaboration with Smart Goal Individual – specialists in individual player training. It was a great example of how our platform supports creative and player-specific planning.
Wrapping Up in Cesena
In the afternoon, we travelled to Cesena to watch the Under-19 Scudetto semi-final between ASD Sporting Hornets and Roma 1927 . Roma 1927 won and later went on to win the tournament, winning 6-4 in the final against Meta Catania .
There, we also had the opportunity to meet Vanni Pedrini , head coach of the Italian U19 futsal national team and assistant coach of the senior squad – another valuable connection made during an amazing few days.
Final Thoughts
Attending The Coach Experience 2025 was a brilliant reminder of the passion and progress driving modern football coaching.
