Objective of the Drill:

Pitch Setup:
- Shape: Hexagon-shaped playing area.
- Goals:
- Two full-sized goals with goalkeepers stationed at opposite ends.
- Players Setup:
- Inside the hexagon: 8 players total (4v4), playing a small-sided game.
- Outside the hexagon:Each team has 4 players, strategically positioned:
- 1 player on one side of the attacking half.
- 1 player on the opposite side of the attacking half.
- 1 player next to the opposing goal on one side.
- 1 player next to the opposing goal on the other side.
- Touch Rules:
- Inside players: Unlimited touches to encourage creativity and ball retention.
- Outside players: Restricted to 1 touch to promote quick decision-making and ball delivery.
- Equipment:
- Cones to mark the hexagon.
- Bibs for teams and goalkeepers.
- Balls for continuous play.
Drill Description:
Gameplay Basics:
- Objective:
- Score goals using teamwork, creativity, and quick decision-making.
- Goals scored inside the hexagon count as 1 point.
- Goals scored with a first-touch finish after receiving a pass from an outside player count as 2 points.
- Roles of Outside Players:
- Provide support and stretching the opposition defense by using the width of the pitch.
- Deliver decisive passes to create scoring opportunities.
- Possession and Scoring:
- Teams aim to maintain possession and create chances by involving both inside and outside players.
- The attacking team should prioritize using outside players for high-value scoring opportunities.
- Continuous Play:
- If the defending team wins the ball, they immediately transition to attack, utilizing their outside players to score.
Duration and Intensity:
- Duration: 3–5 sets of 6–8 minutes each, with 2 minutes of rest between sets.
- Intensity: High-intensity drill focusing on attacking creativity and quick transitions.
