We’ve been hard at work refining key areas of Once Sport, focusing on improvements to the Once Sport Analyser, Once Sport Coach Board, and the underlying user management system. These changes are all about making your experience smoother and more efficient, from managing your account and licences to analysing game footage and strategising with your team. Let’s dive into the details.
Coach Board Visual Improvements
The Coach Board has received a significant visual and functional overhaul. We’ve introduced several key design improvements to provide a richer and more versatile coaching experience:
- Four New Player Designs: Expand your visual representation options with four brand-new player designs, allowing for greater customisation and clarity on the board.
- Redesigned Drawing Elements: We’ve refreshed the drawing elements to ensure they are clear, intuitive, and easy to use during training sessions and game analysis.
- New Field Options: Expand your tactical planning with the addition of new football and basketball field layouts. We’ve also added support for Australian Rules football, catering to a wider range of sports.
- Other Refinements: We’ve implemented the option to hide buttons and to move players and drawings within the presentation window. This provides a cleaner, more focused presentation during live sessions or reviews. Several other refinements have also been made to improve overall usability.
With these updates, the Coach Board becomes an even more powerful tool for visualising strategies, communicating with players, and analysing game scenarios.
Improved “Move a Player” Feature
In this new Once Sport update, the “Move a Player” tool has been integrated with the automatic player detection system. This integration creates a more seamless and precise workflow for player adjustments. Now, the process is more accurate and efficient, reducing manual input and saving you valuable time.
To further improve visibility, the original player is now highlighted with a subtle shadow effect. You can also customise various elements with different colours and settings to improve both functionality and presentation.
New Userbase System
This Once Sport update also brings you a new userbase system that streamlines account and licence management. Now, you can create an account directly on our website and access a centralised hub for all your Once Sport needs. This hub allows you to:
- Efficiently Manage Your Licences: View, activate, and manage all your Once Sport licences in one convenient location.
- Access Guides and Download Links: Easily find helpful guides, tutorials, and download links for the latest versions of Once Sport.
- Check Connected Devices: Keep track of the devices connected to your account, providing greater control and security.
This new system simplifies administrative tasks and gives you greater control over your Once Sport experience.
Settings Menu Additions
For quick access to your personal information and settings, we’ve added a new settings button directly within the software. This new menu links directly to your dashboard, allowing you to view and edit your personal information without having to navigate away from your current task.
You can also set default templates for both the Analyser and Coach Board, ensuring a consistent and personalised experience. We also plan to expand the options available in this menu in future updates.
New Tracking Element
We’ve added a new tracking element: an animated circle for highlighting players. This addition brings us closer to full support for all drawing elements within our tracking system, offering more ways to analyse player movement and performance.
