We want to bring Once Sport to all corners of the world, and this year we plan on going to many different countries to introduce our products.
We have already put his plan in motion, as our team recently returned from the USA! We participated in the United Soccer Coaches Convention and met with a few current and potential users of our products.
United Soccer Coaches Convention
The convention was hosted by the United Soccer Coaches from 8 to 12 January in Chicago. It was a must-attend for anyone who is either eager to find out more about the latest gear and technology or attend lectures and field coaching demonstrations.
It also featured many renowned football coaches and players like Romeo Jozak (Technical director Future Falcons Program Saudi Arabian Football Federation, owner of Blast FC, and former Technical Director at Croatian Football Federation), Gregg Berhalter (Head Coach of Chicago Fire, and former USMNT Head Coach) Carli Lloyd (former USWNT player and two-time FIFA Player of the Year), and numerous others.
Amidst all the presentations that were being held at the Convention, we also had an opportunity to show off our products. We are happy to say that our stand was really busy!
Many of our current users, and potential new users visited us. All of them highlighted how they liked the simplicity of use of our products and the striking graphics of Once Sport Analyser and Once Sport Telestrator.
Also, they played a little game of roll the dice with us, where they had a chance of winning free use of Once Sport Analyser for a number of months that you roll. However, we put a little twist on it, if you roll a six, then you miss out.
Meeting clients around the USA
While we were in Chicago we took an opportunity to meet with ACAP (Association of Croatian American Professionals) at one of their networking events. We met Croatians from different professions and even played WhirlyBall, a game combining basketball, lacrosse, and bumper cars in one thrilling game.
After a few intense days presenting Once Sport in Chicago, we went on the road and visited a few other cities where we met many interesting people.
The first stop was Indianapolis, where we visited Gabe Hall, head men’s soccer coach at the University of Indianapolis. Afterward, we met with Alton Dorian Clark, a basketball coach and social media creator with over 500K followers on its channels. He has been our partner since last year and is using our products for work and social media content.
Then we headed to Cincinnati where we also had a few interesting meetings. Our first meeting was with Nedim Gračanin, U15-U19 boys club director at Cincinnati United Soccer Club. In Cincinnati, we also met with consultant Kaleb Clyburn and with Ernie Yarborough, recruitment consultant for Sports Recruiting USA.
All of the people we met after Chicago and talked about our products were especially interested in the drawing features of our products that we provide as Once Sport Telestrator and as a part of Once Sport Analyser. They are on a level that doesn’t exist in similar products currently available to them.
The final stop of our US adventure was in New York, where we met with Emmanuel Oduor from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He is currently the Head Coach of the Women’s Soccer Team there. In addition to the Telestrator, he was interested in Once Sport Analyser, and we had a long conversation about how it could be useful for his and his team’s development.
Looking ahead
We want to start this final part of the blog by thanking all the people we have met during this trip. We just want you to know that we are extremely grateful for being able to meet so many interesting people and that we have learned so much from all of you, and we hope that we have been able to give some knowledge back to you.
We are for sure going to take all your feedback and advice and try to make our products even better, and more enjoyable.
As we have mentioned before, this year we are planning on bringing Once Sport to different parts of the world. We want to make sports technology and sports analysis accessible to everyone. We started the year with this American adventure, but we are already planning a few new visits to places that we already have visited, and that we are yet to discover.
Another trip is already planned and will happen sooner than you’d expect, and a few others are in the final stages of arrangement.
